Hello N scalers - We wanted to share a few update pictures as the underframe retro-fit projects move forward; The JTC retro-fit kits provide magnetic connection, and/or IBC pins connections, depending on model being retro-fitted.
Below is the Scale Trains brand 53' dry container with the JTC retrofit underframe installed, connecting to the new JTC 20' standard containers. Connecting via ISO 'IBC' pins and the JTC magnetic system.
Here is the Scale Trains brand 53' reefer container with JTC retro-fit underframe installed, connecting to the ATLAS brand 40' standard container. Both models below, when retro-fitted with JTC kits will have magnetic connection also.

Below is a view of the S-T dry container with a JTC retro-fit kit installed, connecting on top of an Atlas 40' container, which has the same ISO IBC points as the JTC HC container. Both models below, when retro-fitted with JTC kits will have magnetic connection also.
And below is the New JTC 40' HC container connecting to the JTC canvas top 40' container. Micro-Trains 48' well car.
Retro-fit underframe kits will be painted, and come packaged in a poly bag kit. Each polybag will consist of a qty. of three underframes that each have three magnets attached, and a qty. of three metal plates to be glued to the inside roof of the model being retrofitted. This kit will convert three models.
